Our Weekend Project

For those of you who didn't know that Rick really is part of this blog...here he is. Some of you may have remembered the steel beam? Over the past several weeks, much work has been done. The second beam was set in place, as you can see.The shelves that, up until this past weekend, have remained at a standstill, are now set in place. I am refusing to place any of the decorations on the shelves for a handful of reasons: 1) I was irritated that Rick was doing it "wrong" in my OCD eyes; 2) I was finishing a homework project that was 2 weeks late; and 3) I really wanted to watch Zack and Miri Make a Porno. So, the decorations are still not on the shelves, but they are put together.

This is the truly exciting part!!! The beams are in place, the walls are torn out, and all of the stuff has been taken out of the back room. That means that we will be starting on the bar this weekend. I am so excited!!! The rooms look so big and I'm anxious to see how the space is used. The one thing that I know for certain...I am not going to have a winch raise up a bar table top in order for a couple of drunk guys to play shuffle-board. Babe...you know exactly what I'm talking about here. BAD IDEA!!!
